Longer days and longer nights
Sun shines on your golden brown skin, bringing out tiny freckles
Going to the beach becomes your new occupation
Boat rides, walks on the beach, and sleeping in become your new routine
Nothing is ever bad in the summer, no homework, no getting up early, and sunburn always fades to tan
Extra curricular activities involve swimming, biking, soccer on the lawn, and lying in the sun
Books are read for fun and not for school, and you do not learn from a teacher, but rather your mistakes
Wind whipping through your hair on a boat or in a car
The bottoms of you feet become a shoe in itself from walking on so many stones
Three months is far too little so soak up every last drop
