Recently, I watched the movie Bohemian Rhapsody.

The movie shares the incredible journey of Freddie Mercury, and the band Queen. The actor that plays Freddie Mercury, Rami Malek, even won a Golden Globe for best actor in a Drama Motion Picture (Editor’s Note: And, by the time I’m posting this, the Academy Award, too.).

Freddie joined the band as the lead singer after the original lead singer quit. The band traveled around the world, never delivering the same kind of music. Their music would range all the way from rock to opera, making sure the audience had something they would enjoy.

I recommend this movie to anyone. Even if you don’t like the band Queen, or don’t know their songs, the problems they face and how they overcome them can be important lessons for everyone. Also, the music that is played during the movie is catchy, and fun to sing along to. Although, make sure you have enough time to watch the movie, because it is more than two hours long!

Bohemian Rhapsody may appear really long, but it is never boring and goes by really quick. After the movie, I was interested in the lives of the band members, and even started researching them even more.

All in all, if you want a movie that is entertaining, a winner for best Drama Motion picture at the Golden Globes, but also informative on true stories, Bohemian Rhapsody is the movie for you.
